Hi there, I’m Saad, a professional cricket player and soundproofing enthusiast! I spend half the year in the UK playing county cricket and the other half back at home in Pakistan. Although I love my home country, it is quite noisy here as compared to the UK. So a few years ago, I decided to sound deaden and soundproof many rooms back at home.
Initially, I only aimed to bar traffic noise from the street. But once I delved into this realm of soundproofing, I started taking on hobby projects ranging from soundproofing the whole media room to reducing noise from the AC vent. In the process, I’ve learned a lot about the physics of how sound works and educated myself on products like acoustic panels and foam.
The purpose of this blog is to educate people on how they can soundproof and sound deaden their rooms. When I initially got started with soundproofing and designing a peaceful life, I found that there’s not much quality content about this topic on the internet. This blog is my effort for changing that.
